Irene "Sylvia" Taylor was born to the late Mary Doctor Taylor and Edward Taylor. Irene was born in Charleston, S.C, then relocated to Bronx, N.Y. In the 1960s, Irene also had two siblings, the late Earl Taylor and a surviving sister Delores Taylor. Irene was an educator for New York City schools and was loved by many friends and family.
