Ellen Molina, 76, passed away on September 1, 2026 in her home.

She was a loving mother to three daughters and a proud grandmother to three grandsons. More than anything, family was at the heart of her life.

If there was one thing that could always be counted on, it was that her door was always open. Her home was a place where anyone was welcome, whether they came for a coffee, a meal, a conversation, or simply because they needed somewhere to be. She had a heart that made room for everyone and was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice.

Ellen loved the simple joys in life: a trip to the casino, a Broadway show, and, perhaps most of all, bringing people together around a good meal. She was an amazing cook, and food was one of the many ways she showed her love. Her home was often a place of gathering, laughter, and memories.

She will be remembered not only for the things she did, but for the way she made people feel - welcomed, cared for, and loved. Her generosity, warmth, and open heart left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her three daughters, Yvette, Tamara, and Monica, her three grandsons, Tre, Antonio, and Dominic, and the sons she didn’t birth, but helped raise as though they were her own, Jaime, Jason, and Justin.

Mom’s door may be closed now, but the love she welcomed into that home will remain open in our hearts forever.
