Obituary of Jeanine Touchard

Jeanine Marie Touchard, 76, of Leonia, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.  Born on May 13, 1949 in Pluneret and raised in nearby Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, each in the Brittany region of France.   Jeanine moved to the United States from France in 1972 with her husband Jean Pierre Touchard.  Together they owned several French restaurants in New York City throughout the years, including Tout Va Bien, Les Sans Culottes and Café Des Sports.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jean Pierre; her two sons Michael and Cyril, and their wives Anne Laure and Lauren.  She was an incredibly proud grandmother to her five grandchildren Melanie, Matt, Audrey, Cedric and Bryce, each of whom were her greatest joy.  She was unbelievably loving and generous, which will live on in all who knew and loved her.  She will be immensely missed and forever in our hearts.
