Obituary of Darcy Dowd

Darcy Dowd of New York City, was born on February 26, 1958. She passed away on February 8th at the age of 67. She is survived by her beloved partner of 19 years, Jerry Wolfe. Also survived by her loving family, John (Renee), Carmel (Steve Paxson) Bryce, James, and Tena (Doug Birbrower). Darcy had 11 nieces and nephews and numerous family relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Dorothy and Edward Dowd.

Darcy had an adventuresome spirit. She loved traveling, scuba diving, photography, she was a talented chef and an avid sports fan. She loved theater, classical music, art exhibits, and she was fluent in French.  She lived a very full life in 67 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Donations in her name can be made to the Glioblastoma Research Organization. The funeral service will be held on February 21, at 11am. Crestwood funeral home on Bleeker St, NYC is handling the arrangements.
