Obituary of Luis Garcia Morales

In Loving Memory of Luis Garcia Morales
It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Luis Garcia Morales on Thursday, October 23, 2025, following a sudden subarachnoid hemorrhage. His departure has left an unfillable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Luis was a very loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose unwavering and unconditional love, humor, patience, kindness, generosity, and compassion touched countless lives. He was the love of our lives—our everything.
Luis was also an amazing social worker, deeply committed to his students and community. Through his work, he inspired hope, understanding, and resilience in others. His colleagues fondly recall his warmth, humor, honesty and positivity, and one shared a touching memory of an email where Luis included a quote by Maya Angelou:
“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.”
This quote perfectly captured Luis’s spirit. He truly was a rainbow—bringing light, color, and comfort to everyone he encountered, even in their darkest moments.
Luis’s journey with his beloved husband, Angel began in 1997, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, worldwide adventures and family along with their sons, Nicholas and Maximillian. Though his time with us was far too short, his legacy of compassion and joy will continue to shine brightly in all who were blessed to know him.
“Rest in peace, mi amor. Though your departure came too soon, I look forward to the day we meet again. Please give our dads, family, and friends who are with you now a warm hug from us.
Goodbye for now. I will see you very soon. I love you. 💕” - Angel Almeida
