Obituary of Hazel McCall

Hazel McCall, 89, of Raeford North Carolina passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Queens General in Queens New York. She was born July 27, 1936, in Raeford North Carolina to the late Wille Lee McCall Jr. and Viola McBride. Hazel was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen McCall and Louise Steward. One surviving sister Catherine McCall of Long Island, New York.
Hazel grew up in Latta, South Carolina and was a 1954 graduate of Palmetto High School.  Hazel loved all forms of music, especially rock with Rod Stewart being her favorite singer. Hazel also enjoyed fixing herself up and dancing in the Livingroom, earning the nickname "Tina Turner"
Hazels' celebration of life will take place Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Crestwood Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 445 W 43rd Street (between 9th and 10th Ave) New York, NY 10036.

Survivors include her two daughter's Marilyn McCall of New York, Sylvia McCall Babcock of Newnan, GA; two sons, Steven McCall, New York and Troy McCall of Boston, grandchildren, Samuel McCall, Michael McCall, Quadsha Wright, Solomon Franks, Richard Franks, Aaron Wright and Gabriella Franks and multitude of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
