Obituary of Marilyn Reznick

Marilyn Reznick passed away at her home in New York on October 20, 2025. She was born on October 16, 1943 in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of Florence and Gaylord Belton and the sister of Rudy Belton. Marilyn grew up on the family farm in Lost Springs, Kansas and graduated from high school in Wamego, Kansas. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Kansas and earned a master’s degree in history from the University of Illinois Springfield.
After graduating, Marilyn led philanthropic programs in education for AT&T for over 30 years. Her roles included VP of Education, and Executive Director of the AT&T Foundation.
Marilyn was a generous and dedicated community volunteer and served on a number of organizations. She chaired and was on the Board of Directors at Educational Results Partnership. She was also a board member of Joy 2 Learn, and the Bay and Paul Foundation. Marilyn was admired by her colleagues for her kind intelligence, attention to detail, wisdom, support, and persistence.
Marilyn was pre-deceased by her parents Gaylord and Florence Belton, her brother Rudy Belton and her loving husband, Dr. Ira Reznick.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Thaler, her husband Wayne, and her sister-in-law Sally Belton. She will be missed dearly.
