David was part of our lives for 10 years, teaching both our children visual arts. He was full of energy, kindness and passion for all he did. We missed him when our kids finished their elementary school journey, but it laid the foundation for both of them to carry that passion for art with them. Now with his passing we are very sad and send love and strength to his family and friends. A great man taken far too early. ????

Mr McGreevy taught my two daughters art at PS 116. He instilled a sense of creativity and inspired them to make art. Two of their works hang in our home as a tribute to him.

My family and I loved Mr. McGreevy! His dedication and love of the arts and his students contributed to both of my son’s love and appreciation of the arts in all its forms. He will truly be missed?
