Joshua Seth Carter, 40, passed away on August 17, 2025.
Born on December 24, 1984 in Macon, Georgia, Joshua lived a life full of adventure, curiosity, and connection. He spent a few years living in different places, including Australia, before settling in New York City, his final place of residence. Joshua had a deep passion for travel and found joy in discovering new places, experiencing diverse cultures, and savoring the world’s many cuisines.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Sylvia Carter and his siblings, Jason Carter, Misty Carter, and Zachary (Sabine) Carter. Joshua’s warmth, sense of wonder, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A virtual memorial service will be held via Zoom on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST. Family and friends from around the world are invited to join in honoring and celebrating Joshua’s life.
