A man with a purpose driven life. And he always said something to make you laugh. We had good years working together in the post office. May Al rest in peace . God bless the family and continue to be comforted and blessed by the God of your understanding. Amen. ??

Cousin Alfred, who we affectionately called Junior was the oldest grand of our group of cousins. He and his Brother Nathaniel, affectionately called Nat, were 2 of my earliest role models and as I grew older they were trusted confidants. Al was one of the smoothest coolest cats that I’d known, he was a sharp dresser. I Will remember our conversations about life and cherish them forever. Unfortunately I’m unable to attend the Celebration of Life services being held for him today, but I’ll never forget his catch phrase when we’d share a laugh he’d always say to me Youse a funny dude man in his little signature subdued laugh, our conversations about Him and Nat growing up as a teens in Harlem during the 60’s. He helped shape my early appreciation of Jazz and Soul music, and my love of exotic skin shoes, as he was the first person I saw wearing Alligator shoes, once I was old enough to know what they were. Although I’m unable to be there with you all, Rahsaan and Jasmine, their Mom Joyce and Al’s grandchildren please doubt my love for him extends to you all as well. To Nat and his family I extend the same love and gratitude to. God Bless you Cuz you are forever in my heart. Love and Blessings to All my Family during this tough time. Cuzzin Terry
