Obituary of Carlos “Caliche” Muentes

It is with great sadness and unexpectedly, to announce the passing of my brother Carlos Luis Muentes aka The Mayor of Midtown, age 53. God called him home on February 1, 2024. 

My brother was a very outgoing person who always made everyone smile and laugh. He was well-known and an OG. Carlos was greatly loved by his family and friends he will truly be missed. He is survived by his son Cj Muentes, parents Colombia Alvarado Muentes, Claudio Muentes, siblings Jimmy Muentes, Johana Muentes-Brea and granddaughters Monroe Muentes and Meadow Muentes. 

You left this world. No sound was heard. I had no idea that life on earth would end for you, and you would not be here.

You were gone before I knew it, no chance to say goodbye. I cannot grasp that you're not here or know the reason why.

Your tragic end came swift and fast, and I could not be there to hold your hands and comfort you it's much more than I can bear. I wish I could rewind the clock and know now what I know. I could have hugged you one more time before you had to go. In my heart, I'll hold you close, and there you shall remain until my time comes on earth when we shall meet again.
