Henry you just happened to cross my mind tonight, then I googled your name to look for an obituary & I see that you have recently passed away. My condolences to your family for their loss.

Henry, you have often crossed my mind - but since we haven't seen each other since the mid-1970's and I've moved to so many places since then- I didn't think I could ever find a contact for you...but today - 9/26/24 - you crossed my mind and I decided to google your name - and learned the sad news that you passed last January. I met Henry at my very first bartenders job. It was in 1991@ Nell's. He ran the amatuer night talent show on our best night Mondays. Hottest club and hardest door in town. Only good looking people and celebs. Money did not really matter. Henry had a huge Magnum PI mustache. Always super cool. Anyway years later we worked at Pravda. Henry once told me a story about his uncle. He ask his elderly uncle "Hey man, does it still get hard?" His uncle replied" No,it just gets heavy." Rest in peace brother.

Henry, I sit here eating breakfast Connecticut, wife in the room next to me. Looked up the place we went for our first date 20 years ago, EO. You were gracious and cool as ever. I met you when Pravda first opened in late 90’. Upstairs bar with Dabney. Such amazing times up there and the secret exit for employees and regulars only. You made the best drinks and always made me feel welcome. Wild times up there. I remember you coming to my apartment in midtown for a party on a summer day, Dabney even showed up. You told me you couldn’t stay long cause you had chicken cooking. So damn cool. I just know you and Dabney are partying with some great peeps up there. Love you brother. Rest peacefully.
