I am devastated by the loss of Chris. I last saw her in 2016 when she went out of her way to meet me and others at a little reunion while I was in New York. She only was able to stay 1/2 hour and I cherish that moment every day. Chris was very special to me at a dire time in my life. I almost died of appendicitis in 1972. When I finally was able to come home from the hospital I was restricted for 2 weeks. Chris came over and made me a lasagna from scratch.I've never seen that done and watching her grind the tomatoes with her fist was a treat. She didn't remember it but I NEVER forgot it. That's who Chris was. I tear up every day I think of her. I know she is now free from pain but she is so missed!!

Chris was a dear friend: kind, compassionate, sensitive, creative. She got to the truth of things, and had a great sense of humor. Chris loved her life fully, and was truly beautiful. She will always be in my heart.
