Such sad news. Jen and I were great friends during our years at Camp Echo Lake. Those are memories that I hold dear to my heart and Jen was a big part of them. My deepest sympathies to the entire family, most especially her kids, parents and brother.

Jen was one of my closest friends and my favorite person to talk with about politics, books, the Oscars, and of course her favorite subject - her family. She adored her boys and she raised them to be wonderful young men. I have too many memories to share but one stands out to me because it reflects what a good friend she was. She couldn’t make it to my daughter’s bat mitzvah party but she took the time and very long drive to show up to her service on an early Saturday morning and it meant so much to have her there to support us. I loved every minute and every conversation with her and I will miss her everyday.

My beautiful friend. Jen was my confidant, trusted advisor, and my voice of reason. We became fast friends from the moment we met in 2000. Our families spent so much time together in our early Plainview years, and our friendship was strong till the end. Family was everything to her. She raised 2 amazing boys. She gave Steve her kidney and he was the most amazing caretaker and loved her like no other. They were lucky to travel together and share so many great times. She was such a devoted daughter and sister. I have such respect for the way she lived her life. No nonsense. Honest. I loved listening to her work stories. I know she was a great teacher and her students were lucky to have her. We shared a love of books and fashion. So many memories. Rest in peace my beautiful friend. You will be forever in my heart. Thank you for all the memories and for being by my side all these years. I will miss you more than words can say.

My friend Jen, she was a beautiful person inside and out, always with a smile on her face. Caring, loving, intuitive to everyone’s feelings. Our decades long morning commute chats cut short way before time. We still had much to discuss. She was full of good, levelheaded advice. She was always there for your ups and downs in life. Ready to celebrate or dry your tears. Her boys, my heart is broken for them. I’ve watch Benji and Jord grow from babies to handsome, strong young men. She leave a huge void in so many lives. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Jennifer. She and I were childhood friends in Springfield, NJ where we both grew up. She was always such a beautiful person inside and out and always very "chill". We lost touch over the years, but still remember attending childhood birthday parties, after school "play dates" and her laugh...what a wonderful and unique laugh! RIP Jen, you will be missed. May your memory be a blessing.
