Obituary of Aaron Paul Henry

Aaron was a really special friend. I had known him for over five years, and he was someone I could go to in time of need and would know that he would listen with an open heart and with complete nonjudgmental empathy. He was smart, witty, kind, and cared deeply for those he loved. I will miss him, and I hope he is resting easy.

I met Aaron in the 2nd grade. He has always held a particularly special place in my heart. It was a treat reconnecting when we got older. Sharing music. Having cathartic calls. And telling each other to be careful and be safe out in the world. He used to tell me if I was ever in the city I’d have a place to stay. He said I could come visit him when he lived in Ecuador or if he ever decided to just live in the states he could picture doing van life together and seeing all the sights. He always accepted me in every shape and form I became. I miss him a lot and hope to pay my respects in person one day.
