Obituary of James Lee Davis

James Davis was born in New York City on July 24,1995. He passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 27.  

He was a devoted son and brother. During his younger/childhood years, James was described as friendly, energetic and loving. He was always “on the go” with his rosy cheeks and sweet smile.  James exhibited a special charm from the start. 

James knew at the age of 7 that he would join the Army when he grew up.  After completing his Associate’s Degree, James enlisted as a paratrooper in the United States Army. He served 5 years and completed two tours, one in Afghanistan and one in Poland. He became a Sergeant in the 82^nd Airborne Division unit. 

Many would describe James as charismatic, funny and an adventurous person. He loved to be around his friends and his dog, Monkey. James enjoyed working out starting at the young age of 8 years old. He was a selfless and fearless individual.  James’ dynamic and magnetic personality made him easy and fun to be around and so easy to love.  

James is survived by his parents, Phillip and Michelle Davis, as well as by his younger siblings, Kaitlyn & Daniel. He will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
