I had the pleasure of working with Jim Crisafulli for quite a few years at the 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds. A long-time 1199er himself, Jim was notable for his hard work and sincerity in applying his background as a pharmacist to protect the health and welfare of our members. My condolences to the family.

Jim was not just a boss, he was a great friend and mentor. He was always encouraging you to take the next step. I had the opportunity to work under him as an organizer on his team at the Union and then to work with him again at the Benefit Fund of 1199. Jim was truly a brilliant man. His vast knowledge of almost everything was absolutely amazing. Challenge him if you would but he would definitely come back with the correct answer. He knew his stuff and I had so much respect for him. I will truly miss him. Rest in Power Jim-Bo …you’ve earned your wings.
