Obituary of Carmen Kortright

A native of the enchanted island of Puerto Rico, Carmen came to New York 70 years ago, like many others of her time, seeking opportunities.  Here she married her love, Angel.  Together they worked to build a beautiful life and family.  Carmen passed peacefully at her home.  Her daughter, Ileana Talavera, and her son, Jerry Kortright, feel blessed to have had such a good mother and will miss her always.  Her legacy can be seen in them and her grandchildren who will never forget her smile, laughter, and love.  May God's peace and perpetual light shine upon her always.
