I always remember what a gentleman Jack was…. From when he and Sue were dating. He always took a cab to bring Sue back to our apartment…. Then he would take another cab home . Making sure Sue made it home safely. I also remember the wasabi dare… without much hesitation,Jack snorted wasabi up his nose. Painful for him but so entertaining and gave many of us a story for almost 20 yrs! So smart, poised and crazy neat for a guy…. He will be missed.

I remember when Jack, Sue, and the boys came to visit us in Northern Virginia in 2015 to celebrate the July 4th holiday. Jack was always so kind and caring. Sue planned to BBQ ribs and it rained really heavily. Jack took out his big umbrella from his car holding it over Sue while she was dealing with the BBQ grill. They saved the ribs and we got to enjoy them. There are no words to express how heartbroken we feel, but we will always cherish the memories we had with Jack.

I knew Jack as a Downtown Little League parent for a number of years and always found him to be wonderfully supportive of all of the players, including his own. My son briefly played with Jack\'s son, Jacob, and, in each conversation with Jack, I was always taken by how much he loved watching his son play baseball. And how he didn\'t take for granted the opportunity to watch him play. God bless the entire family and may Jack rest in peace. Randy Williams

Jack was such a proud dad and inspiring parent. He was the smile that greeted each of us every time we arrived at a Freedom game - always warm and welcoming whether rain or shine. He was the doting dad - there for every one of Jacob’s innings and self appointed ‘videographer-in-chief. He was the cheerleader for every home run - regardless of who hit it. Aiden would go to Jack before us to celebrate a good hit He was the dad who would jog off to collect each boy’s home run ball - to ensure their memory was forever remembered. And he was the motivator-in-chief who delivered Snickers to the entire team for each big hit. These are what he was to each of us But beyond what he was stands what he is. Jack is inspiration, Jack is generosity and Jack is love. He is part of each and every one of us that knew him - and he will stay with us forever. His smile will never fade. And that is how we will remember him and honor him forever. We miss you
