She is survived by her brother, Anthony, her nieces Gail (Joseph), Laurie (Kevin), nephew Christopher, grandnephews Alex, Ryan, Michael, Jacob, grandniece Nicole and cousins Annette (Mike) and John. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Greenwich Village Funeral Home, 199 Bleecker Street, NY, NY 10012. Barbara was very much a faithful friend and colleague. We worked together, laughed a lot, and commiserated. Her perceptions of people were astute.

A talented, profoundly committed master teacher.

Ever vigilant, passionate, appreciative and compassionate. A deeply sensitive soul.

Our work putting together an Art "Salon Event" for our friends in her home was a highlight of both our lives. A very supportive patron. I am ever grateful.

I will miss her with deep affection and fondness.
My sincerest condolences to her family.
