A Long History…

Then… Originally named the Buckley Funeral Home and owned by Jeremiah Buckley, deceased, who was involved with many Irish and political groups, occupied the building. Back in the day, the families who came from County Kerry, Ireland used Buckley exclusively. After the Buckley Funeral Home closed on West 43rd Street, the Horne-Dannecker Funeral Home, which is no longer in business, at this location, occupied this space until closing in 2014.

Now… With our trademark blue awning and a new facade, we have been welcomed by the community and cherish the opportunity to serve. We are the only funeral home in the Hell’s Kitchen (Midtown Manhattan) area – since the closing of Barrett’s Funeral Home in 2012.

Because of our vicinity to Times Square, there are many public transit options to choose from. Both the Port Authority A/C/E and the Times Square 1/2/3/7/N/Q/R/S are equidistant from our location.

The M11 bus stop is at 10th Avenue and 42nd Street and the M34A+ bus stop is on 9th Avenue and 42nd Street.
