Obituary of Mr. Glenn R. DiIorio

February 7, 2019

Glenn R. DiIorio (Davish) passed away peacefully in his Manhattan residence on February 7th at the age of 64.
Glenn is survived by his loving husband, Tim Ousey; sister, Diane Clement (Chris); and brother, Greg DiIorio (Marian) and his beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marian DiIorio; and his older brother Frank DiIorio Jr.
Glenn was born on January 14, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Frank and Marian. After graduating high school, he followed his passion for acting and entertainment and moved to New York City where he held numerous positions in the television industry, ultimately culminating in his Emmy nomination and win for Best Daytime Talk Show for his producer role on The View in 2002. He was never shy about showing friends and family his Emmy statuette.
In 1990, he met the love of his life, Tim, and for 28 wonderful years, they shared their love of travel, food, work, art, politics, and entertaining friends and family together.
Glenn was a renaissance man. He was a talented television producer, actor, business owner, amateur chef, singer, and shopper. In recent years, Glenn achieved Platinum Status with QVC. He was a witty individual who always had a poignant or humorous way to look at the world. Nobody could make his loved ones laugh like Glenn. His nieces and nephews will remember him as a doting uncle who cherished spending time with them during holidays and summers at the Jersey Shore.

With love and sympathy to Tim, as well as to both your families, on the loss of Glenn, whose kindness and friendship we experienced first-hand for many years -- from bringing comfort to us with his presence after 9/11 to bringing flashlights and ice water during summer blackouts in our building.

We will always be grateful and will never forget.

From your extended family down the hall,
Michael Deep and Samuel Bellinger

He will be sorely missed. He was our class clown in St. Philomenas and kept everyone laughing. He was very talented and quick witted. RIP Glenn.

Loads of good memories from the Jersey Shore! Glenn laughing, cooking, helping with Mom and getting Pouch for her and Ruth in Avalon. Glenn and Chuck throwing the baseball back and forth on the beach at Sea Isle,. Glenn's stories kept us all laughing! He will be missed by so many, especially Tim and the rest of our family.
