Dear Michael and Family, I am shocked and saddened by this news. There truly are no words. Vada was always a voice of reason and she had a sly sense of humor which I admired. I will miss her.

An Angel left the earth. An Angel has been received in heaven.

Dear Michael and family,
The loss of our beloved Vada has left me saddened. I didn't realize what a special place she has in my heart until now. She was a beautiful, loving and kind person. I shared many conversations and laughs with her that I will always cherish .
The way I feel I can't even imagine how the family feels. She was a wonderful person and has touched the lives of many, those she has known briefly and those she has known for a lifetime.

Vada was truly a gift to her family and to the children at Daniel Memorial.

So sad to hear of Vada's loss....I will always cherish memories of fun times together in grad school. She was an example of professional excellence and a genuine, compassionate person. Always I will smile when I remember her.

I am so sorry and hurt to hear the loss of Vada. My deepest sympathy and condolences to Mr. Michael Rosen and family.
I am a volunteer at Hospice of New York for approximately seven years and I had seen Vada pass through the office from time to time. But, it was in the last two years I had gotten to know Vada. In 2018, Vada surprised me by inviting me to a luncheon at Hospice of New York and I was deeply honored to be there. It was at that time, is when a beautiful friendship began. We went together along with other Hospice volunteers to RSVP Community of Volunteers to a breakfast in NYC whereby we were honored for our volunteer service. And, I had the pleasure of attending other volunteers luncheons as well as worked with her at some Bereavement support groups at HONY.
I will also go into her office to say "hello" and "what's doing?" As I did with other employees at HONY.
Vada will always have a special place in my heart. And, I will always cherished the small talk, the memories and moments we had shared together at Hospice.
Oh, one other thing; Vada and I were supposed to have lunch together, my treat to talk about my trip to Africa. I visited three countries which were Ghana, Senegal and Zimbabwe. It would have been there to show her some pictures and to further talk about the mishaps and miracles that happened along the various places I went in Africa. Vada said, "to wait because the business was moving to another location and then Coronavirus happened." I am hurt to know that will not happen. Nevertheless, Vada was a nice person and I would always compliment her about her beautiful white hair. She was definitely a blessing to my life and I will miss her dearly and her presence around the office. May she rest in Eternal Peace.

Dear Michael and Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies at the loss of Vada. She was truly one of the kindest, most loving and caring individuals I've ever met. She will be tremendously missed, both her caring heart and also her brilliant mind, so actively involved in so many things from helping Michael with Hospice of NY to coming back to serve so ably on the Board of Daniel.

One of the most extraordinary people I've ever had the privilege of knowing, Vada was caring, intuitive, and brilliant. We are all poorer without her.

To Vada's family, I offer my deepest condolences. I am a HONY volunteer and had the pleasure of speaking to her at a volunteer luncheon. I remember her warmth, spark, and intelligence. Though our conversation was brief, she left a beautiful impression, as it seems she did on many!

Your kindness will never be forgotten. You are a beautiful soul and it was intended for us to meet, as I was a young nurses aide, aspiring RN. HONY saw me through nursing school. I spent 18 years on cardiac units, and now back to hospice in PA. Will ALWAYS remember you.
